This DLC pack adds four new maps, that count includes one new for Nazi Zombie mode and will be available tomorrow (March 19) for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. We are working as quickly as possible to get this patch and DLC out as soon as possible.

This is the patch which will include the DLC Map Pack 1 content, as well as address a few issues with the game. Just a quick update to the PC Patch 1.4 status. Official confirmation is not yet available from Activision, but via twitter the updated patch notes for COD:WAW seem to indicate that no charge will be made since the DLC will be bundled with a patch fixing various issues ( emphasis added): The pack is free for PC gamers but players using Xbox or PlayStation have to purchase it from their console’s online store.Treyarch’s previously announced Call of Duty: World at War DLC is now almost certainly free for the PC. Call of Duty: World at War (also referred to as Call of Duty 5 and abbreviated as CoD: WaW), is a first-person shooter game produced by Treyarch, released on Novemin North America and on Novemin Europe.

The maps add additional gameplay in diverse areas Station is set in an underground train station, Nightfire in a Japanese village, Knee Deep in the burning streets of Berlin, and Verrückt (the zombie map) featuring Nazi Zombies in an abandoned asylum – this map requires a lot of teamwork, the four players are split into teams of 2 and have to work together to reunite and defeat the undead. Included are Station, Nightfire and Knee Deep, a better multiplayer spawn system, and a map filled with zombies. Edited by its creators, the Map Pack 1 package will give your Call of Duty 5 three new multi-player maps plus one Nazi Zombie map. This add-on pack will bring fresh content and renew excitement after you grow tired of the same locations.

The same is true for Call of Duty: World at War, the fifth game in the franchise, which is set during World War II. Fans flock to the stores whenever a new edition is released, and still continue to play the older instalments. Call of Duty is one of the most popular First Person Shooters on the market.
